The mother of a year-old girl who mistakenly took half an ecstasy tablet believing it to be a sweet has described how she thought her child was going to die after taking the class A drug. Hayley Murray, schoolgirl Lacy Hall's mother, said her daughter and two friends took the tablets at a shopping centre near their homes in Salford after one of the girls told them 'they are just sweets'. The schoolgirls were seen 'shaking uncontrollably' and grey in the face after apparently mixing the drug with a bottle of soft drink at a shopping centre on Saturday night. The girls are among the youngest ever victims of ecstasy poisoning after trying the pills which were branded 'Teddy Tablets' as part of a cynical ploy to entice children. Ms Murray has now described the horrific affects of the drug and warned children not to take them. She said: 'Lacy had lost all co-ordination and had chewed her lip. The other girls were badly affected.
